Keeping paragraphs
With "Keep paragraph breaks" on, single line breaks are removed but blank lines between paragraphs are kept, which is usually what you want for text copied from a PDF. Turn it off to join everything into one block.
Hyphenated words
PDFs often split words at the end of a line with a hyphen ("docu-\nment"). Turn on "Fix hyphenated words" to join them back together.
Frequently asked questions
Why does text from PDFs have so many line breaks?
PDFs store text line by line as it appears on the page, so copying it keeps a break at the end of every line.
Can I replace line breaks with commas?
Yes. Choose "comma" as the replacement to turn a list into a comma-separated line.
Is my text stored?
No. It is processed in your browser.
