Posting an Instagram grid
For a 3×3 profile grid, post the tiles starting with the last one (bottom right) and finish with the first (top left), because Instagram shows the newest post first. The tile names include their row and column to make this easy.

What if the image does not divide evenly?
Tile sizes are rounded so every pixel is used; edge tiles may be one pixel wider or taller.
Which format are the tiles?
The same as your image: JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG.
